The power of singing mantras in community, and the creation of a sacred space for sound to emerge is a profoundly and simple offering which goes a long way .  

Humming, chanting, and singing are powerful ways of activating the vagus nerve. Studies show that simply chanting “om” can deactivate the limbic center of the brain, particularly the amygdala—the part of the brain responsible for processing emotions which can turn to stress. 

The vagus nerve is interconnected with our vocal cords and the muscles at the back of the throat. Therefore, using your vocal cords in mindful ways directly activates this nerve, creating again more space for a healthy state within the body, mind and spirit. 

This space we create is led from the heart, it is a spacious place where our sounds of mantra and tone meet each other in the field of vibration.  Here it is difficult not to feel Unity. Something so very welcome and needed in these times.
